Water Lead Test Visit Request

This service request is used to request an appointment to have water samples for lead analysis collected at a residential home in the City of Chicago. A technician will require entry to the residential home, and samples will be collected out of the kitchen or bathroom tap. Appointments must be scheduled after a period of at least 6 hours of not using the water in the whole home and typically occur in the morning. The samples will be returned to the Department of Water Management for intake and analysis. If residents would like to collect the samples themselves instead of a technician, they may use the Water Lead Test Kit service request to request a kit in the mail.
