Water Lead Test Kit Request

This service request is used to request a free lead test kit mailed to a residential home in the City of Chicago. The kit contains instructions, sample bottles, and other materials for collecting drinking water samples for lead analysis. Kits are mailed to residents on a first-come, first-served basis, and large increases in demand for kits may impact time of delivery. After sample collection, residents will schedule a time for the kit to be picked up and delivered to the Department of Water Management for intake and analysis.
