Water Quality Concern

This service request is used to report a water quality concern in drinking water within the City of Chicago. If residents are interested in testing the drinking water for lead, please use the Water Lead Test Kit or Water Lead Test Visit service requests. Engineers from the Division of Water Quality typically respond to concerns within 1 to 2 business days. If water samples are collected in response to the concern, initial results are received in 24 hours, and final results are received in up to 4 weeks.
